Team Radio
Full-duplex, ad-hoc networking handheld radio for team-level secure voice and data.

Overview
Full-duplex, ad-hoc networking handheld radio for team-level secure voice and data. Several team members can talk simultaneously in a priority-based voice conference, and the radios self-synchronize into a multi-hop MANET without any external timing source.
The Team Radio provides secure voice and data communication to each member of a dismounted team. Unlike conventional half-duplex PTT radios, it supports a full-duplex, priority-based voice conference in which several people can speak at the same time (up to 6 simultaneous speakers on a 24-node network).
The radio is built on ad-hoc networking with automatic multi-hop relaying of both voice and data, so coverage extends through the team rather than depending on a single base or repeater. A self-synchronization technology allows every radio in the network to synchronize automatically and rapidly without an external synchronization source (no GPS discipline or master node required).
A companion situational-awareness application runs on a smartphone/tablet paired over WLAN or Bluetooth, using the radio as the transmission channel for GPS position, altitude and speed telemetry, SMS, intelligence reports, position tracking and map-based commanding.
Give every operators in a team a hands-free, always-on, encrypted voice conference plus a data bearer for blue-force tracking and messaging, in terrain where infrastructure and line-of-sight to a command node cannot be assumed.
