Multi-Band SDR Radio

Multi-band SDR covering 30-512 MHz narrowband and 225-512 MHz wideband, carrying CNR, PRN, GTA and WGN waveforms.

Overview

Multi-band SDR covering 30-512 MHz narrowband and 225-512 MHz wideband, carrying CNR, PRN, GTA and WGN waveforms. Delivers up to 8 Mbps (4 Mbps on handhelds) for video and data, runs a robust MANET, and serves as a broadband backbone between command posts.

The Multi-Band SDR incorporates multiple waveforms to guarantee highly reliable communications during rigorous field operations. It supports wideband network waveforms for the transmission of voice, video and data, effectively enhancing operational area situational awareness.

Intelligent frequency selection automatically picks the optimal preset channel to bypass interference, while advanced modulation ensures high sensitivity and extends communication range by 30%. Integrated communication capability delivers continuous 30-512 MHz coverage with integrated CNR, PRN, GTA and WGN waveforms and provides a robust MANET for high-bandwidth voice, video and data transmission.

Real-time situational awareness is powered by the radio's multi-band data link, enabling seamless sharing of GPS telemetry, multimedia and intelligence, including map-based track playback for operational area visibility. High-speed data transmission delivers data rates up to 8 Mbps (4 Mbps for handhelds), ensuring seamless video and data transfer and serving as a robust broadband backbone network between command posts.

The application diagram shows air-to-ground AM/Voice links to a helicopter alongside ground voice/data links between a dismounted operators, a team and a vehicle.

Replace multiple single-band radios with one terminal that carries both legacy narrowband demanding field net traffic and a modern wideband MANET for video and high-rate data.
