Light Comms Vehicle
Brings a full communications hub to the edge of the network on a light 4x4 that goes where larger platforms cannot.

Overview
The Light Comms Vehicle turns a light 4x4 pickup into a self-contained, rapidly deployable communications hub. A bed-mounted modular payload houses multi-band radios, an IP router and an on-board power system, while a compact pneumatic mast raises antennas up to 10 m to extend coverage. It links field teams into the wider network across radio, LTE and satellite bearers, sets up in under 15 minutes with two people, and runs for a full working day on its own power, restoring or extending connectivity in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
A bed-mounted modular payload integrates multi-band radios, an IP router and switching, and an on-board power system into a single rack, so the platform arrives on site pre-wired and ready to operate rather than assembled from loose equipment.
A compact pneumatic mast elevates antennas and sensors to a height of up to 10 m, extending line-of-sight coverage several times beyond a ground-level whip and deploying in under 3 minutes without guy wires or a support crew.
Multi-band radios span the 20 MHz to 6 GHz range and bridge HF, VHF and UHF networks with LTE and satellite bearers, so a single vehicle keeps voice and data flowing between otherwise incompatible fleets and the wider network.
An on-board power system delivers 3 kW of continuous output from the vehicle alternator, an auxiliary generator and a Li-ion buffer battery, giving 12+ hours of silent operation on battery before the engine or generator needs to run.
AES-256 encryption, VLAN segmentation and an integrated firewall protect every link end to end, keeping voice, data and management traffic isolated and secure across the radio, cellular and satellite bearers the vehicle carries.
The light 4x4 base weighs under 3.5 tonnes fully loaded and clears rough tracks, gradients and soft ground, letting the platform reposition in minutes and reach sites that heavier trucks and trailers cannot access.
