Overview
The light end of the field communication vehicle line-up - a 4x4 4x4 seating 4, fitted with a roof antenna rack and configurable with 1 x HF, 1 x VHF, DMR, Starlink, a ground-air station and satellite PTT. Sold on off-road capability, interoperable voice/video/data, verified structural and EMI safety, and deployment with minimal training.
The Communication Vehicle is the smallest platform in the field communication vehicle line-up. It uses a 4x4 4x4 in both station wagon and pickup body styles, each carrying a roof rack with antennas, a satellite dome and mast fittings.
Four key features are claimed - a robust off-road chassis to conquer any challenging terrains; interoperable voice, video and data with in-house comms; rigorous evaluations to ensure structural safety and EMI; and swift and safe deployment with minimal training. Its optional communication module set is the broadest per seat in the range - HF x1, VHF x1, DMR, Starlink, a ground-air station and satellite PTT - making it the liaison and forward-element platform that can talk to aircraft as well as ground networks.
Put a full multi-bearer communications fit on a vehicle small enough to go where the shelter trucks cannot, and simple enough to be operated by a crew with minimal training.
