General Services

We are specialized in providing NDT services (Non Destructive Testing), Tubular Inspection services and Intelligent Pigging Survey on flow lines, to the local market in Libya. In addition, we also provide construction & maintenance works and services for the oil & gas sector including provision of engineering support staff of different categories. References can be provided, if required.

  1. NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING SERVICES
  • We offer the full range of non-destructive testing services including:
  • Radiographic inspection (Gamma & X- ray)
  • Ultrasonic inspection
  • Magnetic particle inspection
  • Welding inspection.
  1. TUBULAR GOODS INSPECTION SERVICES

The inspection of oilfield tubular goods, drill pipes, tubing and casing is provided in accordance with API RP 7G standards with the following details:

  • Visual thread inspection
  • Full length drifting
  • End area magnetic particle inspection
  • Thread gauging
  • Thickness reduction measurement due to corrosion & erosion
  • Detection of pitting or porosity.
  1. INTELLIGENT PIGGING (INSPECTION) SERVICES

FAAB GROUP, through its joint venture partnership with subcontractors offers the above referenced services on flow pipelines.

  1. CORROSION ENGINEERING SERVICES

We can provide provision of corrosion engineering services and personnel. This can take the form of design and installation of cathodic protection systems and equipment.

  1. CHEMICAL MONITORING SERVICES

FAAB GROUP can provide chemical monitoring services including analysis and data reporting to the client.

  1. CONSTRUCTION WORK SERVICES

FAAB GROUP offers (through highly skilled and experienced Engineers & Technicians) the services for the construction of civil installations including roads, buildings, water tanks, sewage system etc. Planning and designing are also part of the services. These services are provided on the basis of our experience in countries outside Libya, where FAAB GROUP has been executing civil works including construction of roads and buildings under a joint venture with our sister companies.

The services for the Construction of Mechanical and Electrical installations are also provided.

  1. MAINTENANCE WORKS AND ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES

A.Pipe lines & storage tanks maintenance services :

We provide full repair & maintenance services for Oil & Gas Pipelines including maintenance, sand blasting & painting services for the Storage Tanks.

B Engineering works maintenance services :

FAAB GROUP offers maintenance work services for all mechanical, electrical and civil installations including complete renovation of buildings, installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, electrical fittings & wiring, maintenance and replacement of doors, windows & ceiling, maintenance of water installations such as tanks & water pipes and all others as per requirements.

C Engineering support services :

FAAB GROUP can provide, on as required basis, engineering support staff and services to compensate for peak manning levels or other staffing problems for the following areas.

  1. VENDOR / CLIENT INSPECTION SERVICES

We undertake full vendor inspection services on behalf of client at point of purchase. This inspection service would provide total documented control of the materials / items being sourced.

FAAB GROUP can provide either the complete quality assurance and control contractual services, or alternatively suitably qualified and experienced personnel to carry out these services under control of the client.
